BEST MACRO FRIENDLY ALCOHOLIC DRINKS

Spoiler alert: You do NOT have to give up alcohol in order to see results. You do NOT have to give up alcohol if you are in a cut.

Spoiler alert #2: If you're looking to be adherent - you DO have to be cognizant of your alcohol intake and get strategic about how much will fit into your macros.

TOP ALCOHOLIC DRINKS THAT WON'T RUIN YOUR PROGRESS

1. (Any alcohol) + Diet Tonic

Diet tonic waters and soda waters are calorie-free, which makes them the number one pick for alcoholic drinks. Get creative. Add lime, lemon, orange, etc.

How to log: 1 shot of whatever alcohol you choose + 3-4 oz of diet tonic

2. Hard Seltzers

Take your pick: White Claw, Truly, Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer, Smirnoff Seltzer, Bud Light Seltzer, Corona Hard Seltzer, even Pabst Blue Ribbon Stronger Seltzer! Most of these brands contain about 100 calories per can (25g carb or 11g fat).

3. Skinny Margarita

Ask for any margarita on the menu, but make sure you ask for light agave (not the normal amount to pour in).

How to log: type "skinny margarita" into your tracking app and pick one that has between 120-160 calories. Make sure you check the macro breakdown and make sure it's also logging as carbs and/or fats!

4. Glass of Wine
