We are so quick to give all of our care to our jobs, children, everyone else in our lives, but when is the last time you gave that care back to yourself? We can't fill from an empty cup ππ»
My favorite form of self care is my night-time routine! It is my time to spend completely alone with my thoughts (or my favorite show/podcast) and focus on ME. Here are my steps - follow along with them or add in your own!
Sleepy Girl Cocktail - I mix magnesium glycinate, a stress support supplement, and tart cherry juice in a cute cocktail class and sip on it as I do the rest of my steps! You can also add a mixer like Poppi!
Bathtime - I myself loveeee some hot water but to your own preference - just make sure to add something fun like bubbles, epsom salt, bath bomb and a nice candle! Read a book, scroll on tiktok or just lay there in silence.
Skin Care - I pretend like I'm getting a facial every night and romanticize this part! Add a cute headband keep your hair out of your face and jade gua sha, for an facial experience even more
Get it Chilly - set the thermostat ~60-68 degrees F. Our bodies prefer cooler air to sleep!
Reading Time - get into bed and read your favorite fiction/fantasy book. No self-help books at night - let your brain rest and not have to think!
And goodnight! - you should be good and relaxed and feeling sleepy! Don't fight it - close those eyes!
